Services Only, Permanent Housing and Prevention programs are only available in
the following counties:
Clark,
Coles, Crawford, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar and Jasper.

Eligibility Criteria: Must
be Homeless (no resources). Homeless definition is met when the applicant is
living in their car, on the street, coming from an emergency shelter, within 7
days of formal court ordered eviction, and fleeing domestic violence. Services
may include first month rent, utility assistance, case management and necessity
transportation. Program term runs six months.
Eligibility criteria: Must be Homeless and have a disabling condition. Homeless definition is the same as SSO with the addition of the applicant must meet program guidelines definition of having a disabled condition. Services available include, but are not limited to, rental assistance up to HUD Fair Market Rent allowance, case management, etc. Programs guidelines allow participants to continue in the program two years, however the Program is dependent on renewal funding which is annual.
Eligibility criteria: Must have experienced a temporary economic crisis beyond household control, by giving evidence of at least one of the following conditions:
Loss of employment
Medical disability or emergency
Loss or delay of some form of public benefit
Natural disaster
Substantial change in household composition
Victimization by criminal activity
Illegal action by a landlord
Displacement by a government
